I thought that the excerpt from this graphic novel had a very subtle theme underneath it. Man, you gotta love the internet! I recently discovered this quote and the moment I saw it, I directly made the connection to the graphic novel that we were reading in our English class, One! Cartoonist Lynda Barry told the story of their doomed relationship in her 2002 graphic memoir One! There, she engaged in intercourse with demons, giving birth to one hundred demons a day. Isn't it great when a book not only entertains you but sparks your interest enough that you seek out more information on the subject? I liked the fact that you had to think over the story to really get the true meaning the author had when she had written it. We will be known forever by the tracks we leave.
